Salman tidbits

I realized that yesterday almost every post had SRK in it.
So today is Salman day :). Well not really. But this post is more or less on Salman.

Do you guys remember the Ranbir-Salman fracas? This was WAYYYYYYY back in the day when Ranbir was a nobody and Salman was still beating dating Aishwarya. The story goes that Salman was at a bar/club and heard Ranbir pass an offensive comment on Aishwarya. Salman got all worked up, puffed up his chest and got ready to clobber Ranbir. His followers held him back and told him who Ranbir was which pacified him. 
Now, cut to the present. Or more recent past. Early last year Angela Johnson (Kingfisher model who probably regrets that she ever did Rascals) got into Ranbir's pants when he was just getting hot and heavy with Katrina Kaif. And the Kingfisher smush was so good that he dropped Katrina like a hot potato.
Anyways, Ranbir got bored eventually and moved on. And Angela did that debacle Rascals. After that crap-fest which was supposed to "launch" her, Angela waited patiently to see what doors would open for her. And guess who swooped in to rescue her. Why, its our very own he-dwarf Salman Khan!! Salman Khan has taken Angela under his wing and will partner with her in the remake of Amar Akbar Anthony which stars all 3 Khan brothers. I am not sure why all of them need to act - Salman is the only one of the three who is tolerable. The others make me want to throw everything in my hand at the TV. 
Also, Salman has helped her get a role in the sequel of Partner. Does anyone else think its creepy that a 45+ year old actor is being paired with a 20 year old model?? 


Remember the Salman Khan-Karishma Kapoor movie Judwaaa? I think that was before Karishma Kapoor's plastic surgery days.
Anyways the movie was a laugh-riot and Sajid Nadiadwala is now making a sequel to the film. And Karishma's soon-to-be brother in law and Kareena's lapdog Saifu gets to be Salman this time around! The rest of the cast is still being worked out.
I don't see Saif doing over-the-top David Dhawan/Sajid Khan kinda comedy - its loud and should be restricted to Govinda. Otherwise we have to bear with horrors like Rascals and Housefull! I guess time will tell!
