John plans on taking the plunge

Priya and I have decided to get married this year.
I met Priya through a common friend and there was an instant connection. I can talk to her about anything. Ours is a very honest relationship. We can tell each other everything. I think that is a benchmark for a healthy relationship
I know it will be this year, but I don't know when. It could be in a few months or a few weeks. I am a very impulsive guy. So I might decide to get married next week!
I can be myself with her. There are no pretenses. We don't even fight, though we argue sometimes.....


-----John Abraham on the current love of his life, Priya. It has been a pretty great year for him so far - Houseful2 did really well and his maiden venture Vicky Donor did fantastically well too. The breakup with Bips actually worked for him.
Somewhere Bipasha is breaking things in a fit of rage and looking for more slutty stuff to do as a last effort to show to John what h is missing.

Tidbits - Gauri paid to design, Boney has balls

 So someone had the bright idea of getting Gauri Khan to be an interior designer for Kolte Patil Developers (KPDL). Apparently being friends with Suzanne Roshan and designing her on home (yea, right!) qualifies her to design other people's homes.
These are going to be large (tiny compared to her own home) penthouses in Pune - between 2K and 6K sq ft. So KPDL gets the face of Gauri Khan to sell their over pricd homes and Gauri probably gets a fat paycheck to help pay for the cosmetic surgeries and Birkins. A win-win!!
So if you have a few crores lying around and want to see Gauri experiment with your home, give KPDL a call!!


Speaking of SRK, Salman Khan put Boney Kapoor in his place when Daddy Kapoor asked Salman to help promote his son's Ishaqzaade. Ha! Boney has some serious balls. First Salman helps Arjun lose a gazillion kilos.
Then Arjun repays that by screwing around with Salman's sister Arpita and then proceeds do the dirty with sister in law Malaika! Its like the Khan household women aren't safe from the boy with the hormones in overdrive!
Anyways, Boney Kapoor was actually upset that Salman refused to help his son. He should be lucky the Khan brothers didn't get together and beat the crap outta him!!

Vicky Donor works!

Turns out John is a better producer than an actor. His maiden venture Vicky Donor released last week and became a runaway hit.
I haven't seen it yet but I guess his take on sperm donation was accepted by the viewers. Maybe thats what John should stick to from now on - producing films and doing the one off item number -although he has 2 left feet. 
So the breakup with Bips is actually doing him some good. Or perhaps its his relationship with the girl he cheated  on Bips with Priya
So Salman Khan's dad Salim Khan watched the film and he apparently liked it so much that he decided to give away one of his Filmfare trophies to the writer Juhi and director Shoojit. 
So if movies like Kahaani and Talassh take away the awards next year (it has Aamir Khan, of course its a hit), Vicky Donor will have at least this one award to cherish :P

Mallika Sherawat's stars just aren't aligned as they should be.
First, she shot for that TERRIBLE song from Tezz - it makes Kareena look good. Yes, its that bad.
After that, the film makers decided to leave the song out of the film (and rightly so) because it looked like crap.
Now, back in the day, Mallika did the forgettable Hisss with Jennifer Lynch - it was unthinkable that Jen could come up with a TERRIBLE film like this.
When the film tanked, she decided to do something with her (mis)adventures and put together a documentary which is a collection of clips during her time in India to shoot Hisss. She talks of her incredible vision just falling apart with the way stuff works in India - it ain't for everyone! Her frustration get so bad that she breaks down and calls our very own Mallika "Hollywood loves me" Sherawat - "a piece of $#!t with a Pamela Anderson shirt".

Behaving like children

Kangana needs to step outside her bubble and pay a little more attention to the bridge burning she's so intent on doing with everyone around her.
So everyone knows of her issues with Sanjay and Ajay during the filming of Rascals.
Both men pressured the film makers to keep her out of promo activities and she in turn decided she wouldn't dub for them unless they paid her an addition to her regular fee. Push came to shove and the film makers filed a complaint against her after which she completed the dubbing.


After all these issues, it was a surprise that Kangana and Ajay came back together for Tezz. Ajay did try to dissuade the director from casting her but that didn't work out.
Anyways, the film is all done and over with and promos have started and lo and behold! Its Rascals all over again!
Ajay acts at promo events like Kangana does n't exist and ignores her when she tries to catch his attention. He then makes comments like - 
Sameera is not the heroine but the hero of the film. She has done some amazing action in the film and is nothing less than any hero in the film.


And so Kangana has now decided she's had enough of it and wants to stay away from promotional activity with Ajay. So she's doing TV appearances etc but she doesn't want to make any appearances with Ajay.
Of course, she maintains a diplomatic stance instead of running her mouth to the press - 
I have done two films with Ajay… in fact when I did ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’, I was still new to the industry and he was a superstar. I have always noticed that he doesn’t talk much. Otherwise Ajay is much disciplined and you can learn so much from him


Yea right!! Just look at their body language in the picture above!! Kangana is great with the plastic smile (the botox helps) and Ajay can't wait to get the hell outta there!!


I guess even with her inflated body ego, she still has stuff like Krish3, Shootout at Wadala and something with Gayman Johar to keep her busy. Who needs Ajay??!? Pah!


They either need to grow up and sort stuff out or stop working with each other.

She is a good dancer but she's been wasted in the song. And the song does nothing for me - it isn't catchy enough.
And Arjun looks and acts creepy - lets just leave it at that.
What is the matter with YRF - although they always churn out crappy mush fests, their music is usually worth listening to. This song isnt!

Tidbits

So on one hand Duckface constantly denies rumors of smushing Shahid Kapoor.And on the other, she throws up in front of his house after a night of hard-core partying while he holds her hair back.
They've been smushing hanging out together quite a bit lately and apparently went partying on one such night. Turns out Shahid gave Duckface one too many tequilas and she couldn't really handle it. So she conveyed that to him by throwing up in front of his house.
Hopefully he sent her home and not upstairs for some late night action (ewwww).

In a crazy turn of events, NDTV decided they wanted to shut down their Imagine channel coz it wasn't doing as well as they had hoped. And they announced it publicly without letting any of the channel's employees including the actors that the channel was shutting down. So everyone went to work last week and then were shocked to find out that there was no work - the channel was closing. So for those of you who applied to be Veena Malik's swayamvar are out of luck. There ain't any swayamvar unless someone buys out Imagine. Rakhi Sawant never missing an opportunity to provide her comments took a jab at Veena Malik when she said - 
I and top channel guys like Samir Nair had worked hard to make my Swayamwar a superhit show with such high TRPS. Par ek Pakistani panauti Imagine TV ko kha gayi! I wish they had not touched her.


Of course Veena is devastated but she hasn't issued a statement yet - she is usually quick to victimize herself.

Clarifications

Katrina Kaif is the perfect Bollywood diplomat. Kangana Ranaut could use some lessons from her!
While Katrina explores new options, she makes sure that the old existing ones don't go anywhere. In case one fails, she always has the other to rely on.
So while she is currently doing a film with our beloved SRK, she doesn't want anything to upset her friendship with the Slamn Khan clan.
So recently when the tabloids went crazy with speculation that SRK had introduced her to a vegetarian place in Mumbai thus taking their friendship to the next level, she was quick to comment that it wasn't SRK, it was her ex-bf Salman's sister Alvira who had introduced her to the place. So usually, she doesn't say anything when the media goes crazy about making up stories but the one that had a hint of a growing friendship with SRK, she jumps up and calls Mid-Day to clarify. Just in case Salman reads it and gets all upset with her and comes crashing into the set like he did with Aish on Chalte Chalte!

More legal trouble for SRK

And speaking of legal trouble, SRK never seems to be short of any.
While the US apologized to SRK for detaining him and subjecting him to the normal process they subject other Muslims people to, some people in India don't want to let go. 
Trouble maker Anand Singh Rathore, Director of Jaipur Cricket Academy filed a complaint against SRK for smoking in Jaipur during an IPL match. 
Rathore's lawyer commented - 
Smoking publicly is banned in Rajasthan since 2000. However, Shah Rukh Khan was smoking publicly in front of thousands of spectators. The actor was broadcast live while smoking on the TV channel, which was showing the match


So apparently SRK is the only person who isn't even from Rajasthan who they decided to make an example out of. They couldn't find the thousands of people smoking their bidis on the side of the roads or anyone else - they had to make an example out of a film star.
I am not an SRK fan but this is a lame attempt of someone who has nothing better to do other than create gossip and place themselves in the spotlight.

Racing again!

After Players died a miserable death (and BTW the only reason it failed is that Abbas and Mustan didn't copy it frame by frame. if they were going to ape the entire thing, might as well have done a good job, what's the point of adding in a little messed-up originality to show that it was an original), the men in white Abbas-Mustan decided to review Race 2.
And not deterred by the Jan flop of Players, they've decided to release it on Jan 25, 2013. 
To replace Katrina, they got her other look alike Jacqueline Fernandez after Sajid Khan gave her his permission.
So if the world hasn't ended by then, this is what you can watch in Jan the following year to end it :P

Shady dealings

Oh snap!
Subhash Ghai needs to pay more attention to his work and less on making appearances at fancy events!
When his filmi career started sinking, he started a school to teach filmi stuff and presented that to his daughter to manage.
Turns out either he or his daughter did some shady stuff with former CM Vilasrao Deshmukh. Yes, that's Ruteish's daddy. At least the Deshmukh family is in the news for something other than how cute Ritiesh and Genelia look!


Anyways, the Supreme Court in Mumbai ordered Subhash Ghai to return 21 ACRES of land that Deshmukh gave him in 2000. I didn't even know that there was 21 acres of land lying around in Mumbai to give and take!!!
The court added more salt to the wounds when it called the deal "illegal, arbitrary and without the authority of law" and said of Deshmukh - It is not acceptable that a Chief Minister will personally sign such an agreement, which is illegal. It is clear that Vilasrao has extended undue favours to Ghai's Whistling Woods.


Ghai played the victim card and bribed brought along a bunch of students to a press conference to support him and called them "the future of the film industry" who needed protecting.
He also had the support of Shabana Azmi and others at the event.
Deshmukh of course laid low and kept out of the news for his shadiness.

Dream on!

Ritiesh Deshmukh is a decent actor - he does vulgur comedies (and he does them well) and other family comedies (which he also does well). But everyone knows that his good standing in Bollywood is largely due to daddy dearest and former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh.


Even then he is is an OK actor and people do want to talk to him to star in their films.
Chirag Paswan on the other hand.....wait, you said Chirag Paswan who?
Ok a little refresher - he starred in a movie with Kangana that no one watched and it sunk his career before it even began. His daddy's political connections didn't really help either coz he faded away into oblivion.
And you know things are bad when of all people, you get dropped from a project in favor of Ashmit Patel.
Of course Chirag when asked made this dumb comment - 
I don’t know about this project and I was not considered for it. Anyway, I have decided not to take on any film. I only want to be part of either known banners or noted directors.


To feign innocence is one thing but to be a jackass and say you want to work only with noted directors when no one really noticed you is another. Unless daddy pulls some REALLLY big strings, dream on!

Bappa tying the knot

Bappi "Ooh Lala" Lahiri Bappa (seriously, that's his name) is getting married next and the big fat Indian wedding celebrations have begun. Of course they played Bappi's music at the sangeet. Although Ooh Lala is a good song I wonder what the guests thought of You are my chicken fry, you are my fish fry (do you remember that crap??)


Star kids who didn't make it despite their parents roots in the industry are slated to perform - the list includes Sleazy Kapoor's daughter, Shraddha, Mithun "Pelvic thrusts" Chakrabothy's Mimoh (with a name like that, he would do better in the porn industry)

Bipasha on the cover of Man's world - Doesn't she look like Kangana Ranaut here?  Is that why she's been quiet after Jodi Breakers died - she was keeping her plastic surgeon busy? Why is everyone starting to look like either Katrina or Kangana??

They should have spent a little less o Karishma's wardrobe and a little more on Divya's. She is such an under rated actress.

Its official!! Mehr Rampal is no longer a Gauri Khan bestie!
Termed as "Bollywood's new hit pair", Gauri and Suzanne appeared extremely airbrushed on the latest cover of Vogue with Gauri in a Marc Jacobs with Louboutins and Suzanne in a Chanel and Louboutins. Somewhere Mehr is burning copies of the magazine in her backyard!
Gauri looks happier on this cover than I have ever seen her pictured with her famous husband. And Suzanne looks unrecognizable. Somoeone went crazy with the Photoshop!

John and Bipasha make news again

Trust Ekta Kapoor to make hay off of others' lives.
After John "I can get so ripped that I don't fit into clothes stitched for me" Abraham and Bipasha "I am single - one night stands don't count" Basu broke up due to John's secret gym girlfriend on the side, they've remained apart even refusing to acknowledge each other. And any comment made by one about the other makes headlines.


So Ekta of course decided to use that to her advantage and asked Bipasha to be part of a film and an item song in the film. Apparently she's been part of the cast for a while and even shot for the film as a prostitute (she better do a good job at this role, its like made for her!)but Ekta wanted to use this as a marketing gimmick and kept her out of the news.
Just when their relationship had started fading into oblivion, its back in your face again!
So many questions - 
Will Bipasha dance with John and relive old memories?
Will Bipasha acknowledge John in the film?
Will John acknowledge Bipasha in the film?
Will Ekta make them acknowledge each other to make headlines for her film?


The mystery continues :P
