SRK obsession

Neha Kakkar apparently doesn't have very much to do and so she created work by employing her obsession with SRK and singing a song about how much she is enthralled by him.
Neha is an Indian Idol 2 finalist and she lost the title to Sandeep Acharya. When Dhanush created an anthem for Sachin which pushed him further into the spotlight after Kolaveri Di made him a sensation, Neha decided to do something similar for SRK. So she got together with Tony Kakkar and Pooja Patel and they came up with a song on SRK based on the titles of his films.
I don't like it very much - its no where close to Dhanush's numbers. What do YOU think?

Munni vs Chammak challo

It's such an iconic song. You can't recreate Munni. We would much rather create something new and better. Having said that, Kareena would be fantastic as another Munni, but the creative call will be taken by Arbaaz after he finishes recording the new song for Dabangg 2......Arbaaz will consult me when we finalise the actress for the song. Whether it's Bebo or someone else, it will be a mutual decision

Rock with Duckface!

Boys and Girls! If you want to spend the evening with Duckface and a bunch of wannabes and have Rs 750 to burn, make your way to Hard Rock Cafe in Mumbai for some rock-concerting on March 7! At least its for a good cause!
I guess Duckface doesn't have much to do after her over-shadowed performance in Rockstar so she's taking what she gets! Sarah Jane just disappeared after her non-existent debut in Game! Maybe Ekta's sequel to Kya Kool Hai Hum will do something for her career!

Afternoon bytes

Rani Mukherjee has been quiet lately - she hasn't really done anything after No One Killed Jessica from last year. And we know she is working with Aamir Khan in Talaash but she hasn't been talked of at all other than her trysts with smush-buddy Aditya Chopra.
Anyways, turns out Rani is working on a film which launches South Indian hero Prithviraj in Bollywood. Wow, so this is what its come down to! No one in Bollywood really wants to work with her so she's gotten someone down south to star opposite her.
He's having major Hindi trouble though - can't really speak the language and his accent and dialect are funny. Rani's supposedly helping him with things - lets see what comes of it!


Ugh! Priyanka just doesn't want to give up her crazy obsession with singing. Its like Kareena's crazy obsession with trying to provide she can shake it! Why can't they both just stick to acting? I don't like either but at least that is something they are actually good at!
Anyways, PC is shooting for Barfee in Darjeeling and took her music teacher along with her so she doesn't miss a minute of singing practice. Someone should knock some sense into that music teacher's head! She's getting ready to record an album with 10 songs that will be released later this year. I could barely put up with one song, 10 of those would drive me insane enough to be admitted into an asylum!

Govinda produces

Remember Narmada Ahuja? No?  Well, then let's start with some refreshers.
She is Govinda's darling daughter whose career is sort of stuck and she's been going through some bad luck.
Govinda had high aspirations for her wanting to make her this big star. First he tried to get Sallu to launch her opposite him in Dabanng but he decided to go with Sonakshi's forehead instead.
Then he got all excited coz it looked like her big break would come soon in a film with boxing champ Vijendra Singh. But then Vijendra decided to tie the knot and return to boxing instead of going ahead with the film.So poor Narmada was back to square one.


As a last resort, Govinda decided to produce a film to launch his darling daughter to get her career off the ground. He wasn't too keen on doing that but no one else wanted to give her a chance. Maybe they should put her and Jacky Bhagnani together in a film - see if the 2 star-kids no one wants to launch can come together and prove everyone wrong! :P
But, how hard can production be, right? I mean, it did do wonders for Esha Deol's career when her mommy got involved and decided to resurrect it, right? Oh, wait a min.....

Lara and Mahesh's apartment in Bandra became too small for the 3 of them as soon as Lara popped her baby. So Mahesh went ahead and go them a swanky new pad in Pali Hill, Bandra close to the Rishi Kaoor residence. Its still gotta be clean and prepped up but soon enough, the Bhupathis will move into their new bungalow and baby Bhupathi will have all the room to run around and cause chaos

Ok, so apparently not satisfied with all the flack she's received for her crappy mujra number in Agent Vinod, Kareena wants to pull off a Munni in Dabanng 2. I hope she doesn't get to. What part of - "You cannot dance to save your life!!" does she not understand? If she thinks her dancing skills are anywhere close to Malaika's she is seriously delusional! Yea, I hope this does NOT happen - don't need to be subjected to anymore of her dance attempts!
