Friday tidbits

When news broke last year of Aish's pregnancy, Madhur Bhandarkar (who had just started shooting for Heroine at the time) threw a fit and complained to everyone who would listen about his misfortune and how Aish and the Bachchans screwed him over. Rajkumar Santoshi who had a movie in the making with Aish and Abhishek took the other route expressing that he wanted to postpone the movie until Aish was ready to come back to work. Its been 7 months since he made that announcement. Last week, while the Bachchans were busy prepping for Sr B's surgery, Santoshi personally went over to the Bachchan residence and asked Abhishek for his money back!! Jr Bachchan already ticked off with Jet Airways for not bending over, was further pushed down further by this. But he didn't keep poor Santoshi waiting, gave him a check for Rs 50 lakh and sent him on his way. Of course, Santoshi still dreams of making a film with the Bachchans. Ha! Fat chance after what he did going there and asking for his money back!!

Much has been said about the Sanjay-Ameesha fight. I think this is what hapenned - Ameesha decided to leave little to imagination when she dressed for that sangeet in a bid to lure back Kunal for the night. Instead, Sanjay's eyes popped out seeing her and in his compulsive bid to control any woman in his life, he told Ameesha to cover up. Ameesha being the modern independant woman that she thinks she is gave it back to Sanjay and told him he had no business talking to her like that. She gave him a piece of her mind (which isn't much incidentally) and then stormed away.
Maybe thats why there are no buddy-buddy pictures of her and Manyata from the wedding.

While everyone is waiting with bated breath for Saif-Kareena's wedding, few people actually know that Saifu's little sister Soha is ready to get hitched! And in all this hype about her brother's (second) wedding, she feels all left out that no one is really paying attention to her and her serious relationship. Her career hasn't really taken off and his is kinda down in the dumps. So mommy dearest, Sharmila stepped in and bought the couple a nice 1500sq ft flat in Khar so they can move in together after the wedding. Of course, since mommy bought it, she listed herself and Soha as the owners! Way to show your future son-in-law who is boss!!
