Mukesh Ambani organized a glitzy party for Sachin last week and a week later, tales from that party continue to make news for some reason.
SRK was absent from that event coz he was shooting for his next mushfest with Katrina in London - what's weirder though is that Gauri skipped on the event as well. There's been all kinds of stories about her having a fallout with her besties Mehr and Suzanne.
Anyways, the big story for the evening was that Salman "Steroid' Khan and ex-Aish were in the same room without any awkwardness. And Salman never failing to make use of any opportunity to make news worth comments took a nice little dig at SRK when he complimented Sachin -
Sachin ke record todna mushkil hi nahin namumkin hai...aur ye Don nahin main bol raha hoon. Aur bol bhi sakta hoon kyonki mera father (Salim Khan) ne likhi hai ye picture. Rights toh unhi ke paas ahin. Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) ne ki thi ye picture.
I am sure Abhishek was thrilled on hearing him mention his dad (although he was pretty mature and even clapped when Salman finished praising Sachin)
SRK of course declined to comment on Salman's dig. At the end of the day, a simple Dabanng was more loved than the over-the-top terrible Ra.One.
I didn't see it as a dig. I just thought it was funny. Sallu did a great job. ABjr sucked with his lame ass speech. We all know Sachin is good at what he does what else ABJR? Estupido, even his wife was like yeah that's my hubby. Clap Clap Clap. He's great. Shameless ARB couldn't go to a funeral but showed up to rub shoulders with rich people. Not much of a surprise there but very shameful.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same. Suri C is a bit brat-iesh. I like the Affleck girls or the Jolie-Pitt bunch (Now they are normal). She's not to blame though. Her parents are the ones spoiling her and I guess she's the 1 (meaning she's the only child) so, they can and totally should. Kids need to be loved.
