It looks like the Indian media is going all Jet Lee on poor Aish for not losing the post-pregnancy fat fast enough like Victoria Beckham. There have been Youtube "breaking news" videos of her double-chin picture with elephant trumpets as background scores. Unkind much?
Anyways, Aish hasn't said much about the whole thing. She appeared in Cannes this past week, a few pictures follow. She does look a little round but its nothing drastic.I mean she just gave birth a few months ago - give it a break! And its her body so its her decision on being rotund or crazy thin!

her hands look swollen in that ellie saab gown and abu-ssandeep saree.. she should have gone for a more subtle saree though but what can 1 do if MIL chooses ur saree..but love her gold colored makeup..other fotos look nice..

@dreamy, I agree re Jaya selecting that outfit. Everyone knows Manish Malhotra was Aish's favorite designer till she got married.
ReplyDeleteShe's playing the I am a mother and everyone is calling me a fatty card well in Cannes. The media has made a big deal about this. I doubt ppl really care if she gets fat or not. They've got their own lives. Personally, I think she looks terrible when it comes to make and the clothes. She is wearing too much trying to hide whatever she's trying to hide. The flowy dresses look terrible. I like her blue dress for the red carpet but still think she could've done better and her desi saree but I dislike the makeup. They've made her too white which she's not. You can tell when you look at her neck.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think ppl or media think that she should've lost a bit wright because she's paid millions of dollars to represent a brand. To look fit doesn't take much. Agree that babies require a lot of attention but they do sleep and her baby is 6 months now. She had time to loose a but before the appearance. Having a baby is just an excuse. She was looking heavy way b4 the baby was born. She's having her cake and eating it too. Clearly!
