Do you remember Pyar Ke Side Effects from many years ago? It is the only tolerable Mallika "Hollywood wants me. Really!!" Sherawat film thats out there.
Anyways, the film was pretty decent and Mallika actually got praised for her acting ability which no one thought she possessed.
Filmmakers are putting together a sequel to that movie called Shaadi ke Side Effects and have gone through a round of heroine-changes. Vidya Balan is the latest to be considered but film makers aren't too happy with her because she is asking for more money than whats being offered to Farhan Akhtar who will be playing male lead.
Dunno why they are upset - it is expected considering she's delivered a few hits and with The Dirty Picture releasing this weekend, I won't be surprised if Vidya ups her price even more.
If all works out, it will be a rather odd pair on screen - Farhan and Vidya.
