Monday tidbits - O is in town, Preity comes back with Shiney

Do you remember the time when Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan went on Opran and Aishwarya acted like a 14 year old schoolgirl with her constant annoying giggling and the fakest accent EVER and embarrassed every Indian on the planet? Or when she went to Oprah by herself and made a complete ass of herself tying a sari for poor O?
Well, O is in town and Bollywood will rush to meet her at a party thrown by Queenie Dhody The Bachchans Parmeshwar Godrej. Of course the media is going nuts on when O will meet the As and what O thinks of the baby A. Not sure what the hoopla is about anyways!

Sooo hasbeen Preity Zinta started a film with Shiney Ahuja in 1997 - before the time Shiney got caught with his pants down with his maid and spent the next year or so in jail. Preity and Shiney had trouble getting along during the shoot and Preity bitchslapped Shiney when he physically hurt her as he forced himself on her during a scene for the film. Thankfully the shooting was mostly complete coz there is no way in hell Preity would have gone back to do anything with Shiney after that.
Then, Shiney was in the news for raping his maid and no one wanted to see a film where the lead actor is an accused rapist. So it got put on hold
Shiney ping-ponged between jail and the courts. In the meantime, Preity did some crappy films, broke up with over-boy Ness Wadia and went to the US for a bit. When she came back she had nothing to do so she started a shiteous show. And since that fell flat, she is more than happy to come together to promote the release of Harr Pal (FINALLY) with Shiney! How times have changed!
