After Karan Johar dumped an old SRK for a younger Ranbir Kapoor for his next (read Masand's column for some not-so-blind gossip), SRK nursed his ego and bounced back to begin shooting for Yash Raj Films' next venture with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma earlier this week.
YRF hasn't had a very good track record with their films over the past few years - their last proper hit was Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. So they are probably looking to create that SRK magic which gave them DDLJ and Mohabbatein.
So apparently because SRK hasn't had a very good experience working with Salman's then-ex (Aishwarya Rai), he clarified and confirmed with Katrina that there would be no problems re Salman on the sets. Better be safe than sorry!
Not sure how much of a role Anushka will have in the film with SRK and Katrina being in the limelight for the most part but I am sure we'll find out!
