Do you remember Shiney Ahuja? He was a promising actor picking up challenging roles and earning awards and praise for his work. Then crap hit the fan when his maid accused him of raping her and spent 2 years in and out of prison trying to prove he didn't. 


Well, he is back now with his new venture Ghost releasing Dec 16 which is aptly captioned "Past never dies, it kills". I am sure Shiney agrees. Apparently Shiney even got paid his regular acting fee for the film. At this point, I think he is happy just getting paid work!!
The film was in the news earlier this year when Sayali, Shiney's co-star in the film accused Shiney of being inappropriate with her. Of course, she was forced to retracted her statement saying it wasn't her that made it.

In other news, due to Rajinikanth's health, the makers of Rana have decided to postpone the film. They might as well shelve the project - I don't think anyone will be surprised. And with Rana indefinitely postponed (read shelved), Deepika has plenty of time to twiddle her thumbs before she joins ex-lover boy Ranbeer for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

The film makers also have chosen to keep their cast in the dark on the fate of the film. Either that or Deepika is in denial because when contacted she claimed to have no idea about the film itself.
