Maybe its because there is a memorial service planned for December 15. However, it is still weird that no one from the film fraternity thought the actual funeral was important enough to make a trip to London.
Dev was cremated at the Putney Vale Crematorium in London with a memorial service afterwards at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London.
